The property is a 3-storey detached house located on the Dulwich Estate in Dulwich Village. The house had undergone refurbishment with a rear extension added in 2008 but lacked a coherent flow throughout the building. The brief was simple; to create a connected, free-flowing house with five bedroom suites, large kitchen/dining/living room connected to the garden, two further reception rooms and a basement with gym, plant room and storage. The brief was achieved by moving the master bedroom suite to the top floor with ensuite bathroom and separate dressing room. We were also able to include a roof terrace. Four bedroom suites were located on the first floor, two of which have separate dressing rooms. Whilst doing this, the original stairwell was removed and replaced with a new balconied open stairwell running through the centre of the building - connecting the house as one free flowing structure.
