Luxury House Renovation on the Dulwich Estate

This 3-storey detached property, located on the prestigious Dulwich Estate in Dulwich Village, was previously refurbished with a rear extension added in 2008. However, the layout lacked cohesion and spatial flow.

The client’s brief was clear: to transform the property into a connected, free-flowing family home featuring five bedroom suites, a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with direct garden access, two reception rooms, and a basement with a gym, plant room, and storage areas. The master bedroom suite was relocated to the top floor, complete with an en-suite bathroom, private dressing room, and newly added roof terrace. Four additional bedroom suites were arranged on the first floor, two with dedicated dressing rooms.

To unify the structure, the original stairwell was removed and replaced with a balconied open staircase, running through the centre of the house and linking all three floors. This structural change was key to creating a seamless, modern living environment.
